AL-Daleel Journal
Reviewer Selection Criteria

Selecting qualified reviewers is a crucial component of the publication process. Several factors are taken into account, including:

  • Reviewer's expertise
  • Scholarly reputation
  • Recommendations received
  • Absence of conflicts of interest
  • Performance in previous reviews

Priority is given to reviewers who demonstrate timeliness, accuracy, logical analysis, and a collaborative spirit, as excellence in these areas is highly valued in our review process.

 Potential Conflicts of Interest

Reviewers must declare any potential conflicts of interest and must notify the responsible editor by email, declining the review if such a conflict exists.

Examples of conflicts of interest (including but not limited to):

  • The reviewer is affiliated with the same institution as one of the authors.
  • The reviewer has any other form of academic relationship with one or more of the authors.
  • The reviewer may gain or lose-whether materially or immaterially-from the publication of the manuscript.

Reviewers are encouraged to consult the COPE Ethical Guidelines for Peer Reviewers, which the journal fully adheres to.
